Welcome to my portfolio. My name is Lexceyra Garcia, and I am a senior in high school. Since it’s my last year in high school, I will strive to make the most of this year and be as involved as possible. I have three younger sisters, two in primary school and one in high school with me. I am also enrolled as a student at Coalinga West Hills College, where I have taken dual enrollment classes. I enjoy coding, listening to music, and watching anime. My favorite song right now is With You by MVMP, and my favorite anime is Soul Eater. Growing up, I didn’t have many talents. When I got to high school, I was put into web page design, where I learned how to code. Now I can code and design websites, which I believe is a valuable skill.

The theme for this portfolio is based on a kids’ cartoon, The Amazing World of Gumball. I chose this theme because the show was one of my favorites growing up. I’ve taken all three coding classes offered here at Coalinga High School: Web Page Design, Intro to JavaScript, and currently Web Application Development. My experience with coding has been great so far. It had opened my eyes to how websites work and how to use technology better. This year in Web App Development, I hope to learn more about making professional websites. I want to be able to use them, whether it’s for work or school. I believe these skills will make me stand out.
